On November 7th and 8th 2019, the ISM-KA Final Conference was held at NOVA School of Economics & Finance in Lisbon, Portugal.
The “International Security Management Knowledge Alliance” (ISM-KA) project reached its thirty-fifth month of life, and Consortium members were hosted by NOVA with the aim of assessing the Project’s status and presenting the results achieved within the ISM-KA project.
During the event, ISM-KA products (i.e. Horizon Scanning Tool, Security Multilogue Platform, MOOC) were presented by each leading organisation to foster a subsequent discussion about the project exploitation and the pending activities to be completed by the end of the project.
Furthermore, particular attention was put on ongoing activities directed towards the preparation and delivery of the International Security Management Master Programme, which represents the core outcome of the ISM-KA framework. The Consortium announced that the Master has been validated by SHU, so it will be officially launched in September 2020.
The event was also the occasion to meet the ISM-KA Advisory Board members, who contributed to the preparation of the Master by providing their expertise and experience to improve the quality of the activities to be implemented during the project lifetime.
