The Security Multilogue Platform (SMP), closed version, is an online collaboration platform created around the ISM-KA Master’s Programme in which students, teachers and consortium partners are invited to share their thoughts about topics relevant for the security community of experts. The tool is based on the forum tool that is implemented in the online Blackboard environment that is accessible to the students of the ISM Master Course. The tool will be therefore used by students working on international security threats as part of their Master’s qualification. Teams can share insights and experiences with team members, other teams or individuals working in the wider security domain.

Hence, the Security Multilogue Platform will provide the primary interface between students or the wider community and the content and educational modules. As the SMP closed version is an integral part of the Blackboard environment that SHU uses to facilitate the learning of all its students, the platform will remain up and running and supported by SHU as long as the ISM Master has students. The revenue contrived through the students’ fee of the ISM Master's Programme will cover these costs. No direct revenue is expected from the use of this tool.

Access to this tool is restricted to Students and Faculty of the Executive Master's Programme in International Security Management that will start in September 2020 and will be run by Sheffield Hallam University.
