Executive Master in International Security Management

The ISM-KA has developed a multi-disciplinary sectoral based validated Executive Master’s Programme to educate and train the current and next generation of decision makers in the international arena of safety and security. Through case-based teaching and learning, students will be given the opportunity to understand security from a real-world holistic point of view. As a result, they will be better equipped to implement adequate security management in their own organisations.

The ISM Master’s Programme has been envisioned to be offered as blended learning over 2,5 years with a total of 180 CAT (90 ECTS) following a curriculum that is focused on both management as well as more technological aspects of International Security Management, as it is shown in the following picture:

The programme can be followed as a certificate (60 CAT), Diploma (120 CAT) or full MSc Course (180 CAT) (see deliverable "ISM-KA Master's Programme descriptor").

The Master will be taught by a partnership of teachers that participated in the International Security Management Knowledge Alliance Project ISM-KA.
