On November 7th 2019 on behalf of the ISM-KA Alliance and as project coordinator, Professor Gabriele Jacobs from the Rotterdam School of Economics attended the Annual Meeting of the Global Business School Network (GBSN) hosted by NOVA School of Economics & Finance in Lisbon, Portugal.
Professor Jacobs presented the project and its objectives and held the two workshops, namely “Multi-Sector Collaboration: Developing Holistic Training Tools to Address International Security Challenges” and “Lessons Learned from the ISM-KA Project: How Can Business Schools Contribute to Solving Security Challenges”.
The aim of the first session was to showcase the outcomes of the project and share how the business schools involved in this project helped contribute to its success.
The second session was a practical workshop for business schools that wanted to apply the lessons of the ISM-KA project in their context. It focused on cooperation between business schools in developed and developing countries to address international security challenges.
