Provision of COVID19 Sanitary Risk Assessment Training for Medical and Laboratory Facilities - SANITRAIN

Sanitrain is a nine month project aiming to provide training in sanitary risks assessment concerning Covid-19, targeting experts working in medical and laboratories facilities.

The overall objective is to deliver a differentiated course on emergency response and risk assessment for medical and laboratories facilities working in the sanitary field supported by specialists of the ASST Fatebenefratelli SACCO. Through a tailored e-learning platform,  two differentiated courses designed for each sector's domain will be implemented to fulfill the health workers' demands.

As an additional tool to support partner countries, the trained experts will conduct training activities locally, ensuring reach-back support during the whole project duration. 

The Project is implemented in countries of the SEEE region such as Albania, Georgia, Montenegro, and CA region Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, and Tajikistan.

Sanitrain is coordinated by Fondazione FORMIT in collaboration with Azienda Socio Sanitaria Territoriale (ASST) Fatebenefratelli-Sacco from Italy. Local senior experts with experience in the CBRN domain will be supporting the activities in the partner’countries.

Sanitrain is financed by The International Science and Technology Center (ISTC), an intergovernmental organization connecting scientists from Kazakhstan, Armenia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Georgia with their peers and research organizations in the EU, Japan, Republic of Korea, Norway, and the United States.
