On December 4th 2019, Tony Thompson and Kim Wever hosted a dissemination event at the Disaster Response Expo 2019 (IDRExpo) in London representing the ISM-KA Consortium and the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in order to present the project and its products (i.e. Horizon Scanning Tool, Security Multilogue Platform, MOOC, Executive Master in International Security Management).
The event was co-located with the International Security Expo (ISE), held at London Olympia on the 3rd and 4th December 2019.
IDRExpo is the most important event dedicated to humanitarian aid and disaster relief, while ISE unites the entire security community allowing shared learning and collaboration amongst Governments, Law Enforcement Agencies, Major Event Organisers, Transport Hubs and Networks, and many other organisations and individuals working in the public and private sectors representing more than 65 countries.
The event was a good chance for ISM-KA to further enhance its dissemination actions and meet new stakeholders with whom potentially exploring further cooperation opportunities even after the end of the project.
