On the 11-12 October 2017, the ISM-KA Consortium meeting was held at the University of International Studies of Rome, Italy.
The “International Security Management Knowledge Alliance” (ISM-KA) project reached the tenth month of its life, and the Consortium members (i.e. RSM, CENTRIC, INITIATICES, POLITIE, ISPC, LCI) have been hosted by Fondazione FORMIT with the aim at making the point on the current status in which the Project stands as well as at fixing common arguments to jointly proceed towards a proactive implementation of the main activities expected within the ISM-KA framework.
The first day of meeting was the best opportunity to share, discuss and plan the main tasks related to each Work Package as well as to find agreements upon the most relevant aspects related to the management of the project outcomes.
As the core activity of the whole meeting, the second day focused on the development of the “Carpe Diem Session” dedicated to the design the MSc Programme on International Security Management, which will be activated at the end of the ISM-KA Project. All the Project Partners who attended this session have cooperated actively, making positive steps forward towards a joint definition of the boundary conditions, the related approach to be implemented as well as the overall structure and the story line of the Master Programme.
The just concluded Consortium meeting represents a concrete turning point from the inception phase of the project to a more operative approach oriented to implement all the aspects outlined during the first months of activity. According to that, a first prototype of the master program contents has been developed, and each Project Partner will further validate and align the achieved outcome with various expert panels in different countries.
