Estoril Conferences hosts the first workshop lead by International Security Management Knowledge Alliance.
During the 2017 Estoril Conferences in Portugal, the International Security Management Knowledge Alliance (ISMKA) lead the first workshop on how to actively engage civil society in targeting international security threats.
The workshop delivered concrete results in terms of specific initiatives that will be taken further by the ISMKA during the next years of the EU supported program, including the development of the Master of International Security Management and professional workshops for security professionals.
This Estoril session was kicked off with keynotes by Professor Gabriele Jacobs – Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in The Netherlands and Dr Rex Degnegaard – CEO of INITIATIVES, a research based advisory firm from Denmark.
The keynotes focused on new models for ways of engaging civil society in successfully targeting international security threats and how to co-create for impact. The workshop was based on ISMKA’s digital multilogue platform to engage participants, capture essentials and disseminate outcome.
