strengthening regional security by increasing local ownership

The European Union Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Risk Mitigation Centres of Excellence Initiative (or EU CBRN CoE) was launched in response to the need to strengthen the institutional capacity of countries outside the European Union to mitigate CBRN risks.

This project presents a fantastic opportunity for our European experts to work with colleagues from across the South-East Asia region

The project will give us the possibility to enhance the region's capabilities to plan for, and respond to CBRN incidents, manage biological hazards and raise awareness of many of the issues associated with CBRN materials. I look forward to a very successful project.
