The project “Provision of COVID-19 Sanitary Risk Assessment Training for Medical and Laboratory Facilities” (SANITRAIN) aims at providing a remote training programme in sanitary risks assessment concerning Covid-19, targeting experts working in medical and laboratory facilities located in 8 countries of Eastern Europe and Central and South Asia. The overall objective of SANITRAIN is to deliver a differentiated course on emergency response and risk assessment for medical and laboratory facilities working in the sanitary field supported by specialists of Fondazione FORMIT (as project coordinator) and the ASST Fatebenefratelli SACCO. Through a tailored e-learning platform developed by Fondazione FORMIT, two differentiated courses designed for each sector's domain and a common one have been tailored and delivered to fulfil the health workers' demands. As an additional tool to maximise partner countries’ capabilities to deal with Covid-19 emergency response and risk assessment, the trained experts will carry out training activities locally and will be supported by the project partners during the whole project duration.
