Training course Experts of internationalization for small and medium enterprises

The Course

FORMIT Foundation, within its institutional activities, organised a specialization training course in order to train Experts of Internationalization for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The Course has been fully financed and managed by the Centre of Methodologies and Formative praxes of the Foundation. This Course represents a great learning opportunity and, along its several purposes, it aims at creating a competitive model for the productive system

The main goal of the course was to form professional figures, highly specialized, able to promoting the internationalization of SMEs in Lazio Region.
A group of sixteen young people, between 21 and 28 years old, attended the Course and, at the end of it, they received an official certificate of attendance. Moreover, FORMIT offered to the best candidates the opportunity to carry out an internship experience into companies and institutions interested in developping an Internalization process. The gained skills and knowledge represent an important value-added for the young experts as well as an opportunity of improvement for the SMEs of the Lazio Region.
Matter of fact, the necessity to compete on the international markets imposes, even to those companies of smaller dimensions, a confident ability to address to productive and institutional bodies outside of national borders. Moreover, the undisputed prevalence of the English language in the international trades indicates how much linguistic competences are essential in the Internationalization process.

During the four-month Course, thanks to teachers of great national and international importance, students faced economic, legal and commercial aspects linked to the most relevant productive fields in the economy of the Lazio Region; insurance-contractual-logistic issues concerning International exchanges; topics regarding both international banking transactions and protection of the intellectual property.
In the Course there is a prevalence of lessons in English language with mother tongue teachers.
